Our Tutors

Our tutors are all professional tutors as well as performers in their own right. Scotland has a wealth of musicians, and we are privileged to be able to call on some of the best in the country. Scotland is home to such amazing bands as Capercaillie, Session A9, Blazin' Fiddles, Runrig, Treacherous Orchestra, Mànran, Old Blind Dogs, Skippinish, Skerryvore, Tide Lines, Breabach, Dàimh, Talisk. Individual performers include Julie Fowlis, Hamish Napier, Duncan Chisholm, Adam Sutherland, Tim Edey, Marc Clement, Ross Ainslie, Kathleen MacInnes, Siobhan Miller and Emily Smith, to name a few.

Our Commitment

We want your visit to exceed your expectations. Working together to identify what will make this truly an unforgettable experience, we will build a trip that develops your musical skills in ways only Scotland can do, and we'll provide the authentic Scottish experience your group craves.

We aim to include as much quality time as possible and reduce environmental impact by minimising unnecessary bus time. Working together, we pick one or just a few locations to be based in. Music instructors come to your group, and transport and tour guides are provided for day trips.

Students get exclusive access to a host for the scheduled activities of their time here. This is especially important for young student groups - while the students may have a musical activity, parents can go out and about knowing someone is watching over their youth.

Making an Impact

We encourage each visiting group to give back to the local community while they are here.  Some possible positive contributions to the local community include:

  • Volunteering at a tourist destination
  • Performing a concert
  • Fundraising through a local ceilidh
