You can’t visit the Highlands and Islands without seeing the sights.  Each tour we offer is tailored to the interests of your group. Most Fèis Stravaigin groups choose to include the following, because, well, a Scottish experience just isn’t complete without a full immersion into the culture:

  1. Tour a whisky distillery and discover how hundreds of malts can all come from the same three ingredients
  2. Dance at a ceilidh and meet locals your own age
  3. Discover the mysterious Picts, the painted people who scared away the Romans and welcomed the early Christian saints
  4. Visit a castle (or three or four), including one which was once the largest in Scotland
  5. Explore ancient ruins and standing stones, older than the pyramids
  6. Re-live the battle at Culloden, and see how it nearly demolished the Highland way of life
  7. Learn about the Clearances (the cause of many Scottish American immigrations)
  8. Take a cruise and search for the Loch Ness Monster
  9. Take a selfie at Eilean Donan Castle, the most photographed castle
  10. Soak in the atmosphere on the Isle of Skye, shop in colourful Portree and hike the Quiraing

We can tailor your visit to include anything you'd like to see. Our programmes are designed to allow your group to be based out of one area for a few days at a time, bringing the music instruction to your group to allow you to continue to travel about locally and see as many sites as possible.
